Fine Floor Fibre Boards form a shock and sound absorbent layer which also compensates for small uneveness, scratches or cracks on concrete and wooden sub floors. The Fibre Board panels also act as an excellent thermal insulation layer. Isopanel Fibre Boards prolong the life of wood and laminate floor coverings. The raw material used to produce Isopanel Fibre Board is 100% Poplar wood fibre with no additives and contains no harmful substances. Isopanel Fibre Boards can be placed directly onto floor boards where the maximum unevenness is 2mm and is not subject to humidity exceeding 3%. We recommend that you use our Damp Proof Membrane (DPM) when the fibre board is placed onto concrete floors and the humidity level exceeds 3%. When fitting Isopanel Fibre Boards it is essential that an expansion gap of up to 2mm is made between each panel and where the panel meets a fixed structure in the room, the expansion gap must be approximately 10mm.
