Envirolay 42 is a 1424g/m2 (42oz/yd2) medium weight felt suitable for heavy domestic and heavy commercial such as living areas, bedrooms, stairs & landings and commercially it is widely sold for use in pubs, clubs, restaurants & hotels. Envirolay 42 provides excellent comfort and durability along with excellent heat and sound insulation properties. It allows air circulation and carpets to breathe. Moisture will not be trapped under the carpet and the build up of mildew is eliminated. Envirolay 42 has safer fire retardant properties and gives off non-toxic 'white smoke' as opposed to toxic 'black smoke' emitted when rubber burns Envirolay 42 absorbs airborne and footfall noise to give a quieter home environment. Envirolay 42 will not crumble due to high foot traffic or wear from castor chairs and will remain stable for years. Envirolay 42 is also suitable for use with underfloor heating and is manufactured from recycled, raw materials and therefore is an environmentally friendly product. Envirolay 42 is supplied in easy lift 22kg rolls.
