Delivery Terms



All underlay consignments are delivered on the HomeServe network provided by Businesspost.

98% of all orders are delivered next day using this service. However we recommend that you receive your goods before arranging carpet fitters etc.

Some of our smaller, light-weight items may be delivered using the Royal Mail 1st Class Post service if purchased without underlay. Some Larger, heavy weight orders of underlay maybe palletised and delivered to kerb by a specialist haulage company. We cannot guarantee a Next Working Day Delivery on these items.

Dispatch
All completed orders received up to 2pm Monday-Friday (except Bank Holidays & Christmas week) shall be dispatched that day for next working day delivery unless otherwise stated and are subject to stock availability.  (ORDERS RECEIVED AND PROCESSED FRIDAYS WILL BE DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING MONDAY UNLESS A SATURDAY DELIVERY SLOT IS SPECIFIED)

Minimum Order Charge
Orders with a total value up to £24.99 are subject to a minimum order delivery charge of £6.95 incl VAT

Standard Service
All Deliveries on our standard service will be made Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm. (Except Bank Holidays & Christmas week).

Additional Specified Service Options & Charges
For a small extra charge per consignment you can specify one of the following service options.

Specified AM (8am up to 12pm) - Extra £6.95 Incl VAT per consignment
Specified PM (12pm up to 5pm) - Extra £6.95 Incl VAT per consignment
Specified Evening (5pm up to 9pm) - Extra £22.95 Incl VAT per consignment
Specified Saturday (8am up to12pm) -Extra £29.95 Incl VAT per consignment

Delivery Service available in the UK & Rep. Of Ireland

Free Next Working Day Delivery (on all completed orders received before 2pm)
England, Wales, Central & Southern Scotland (Zones A & B Only)
Free Next Working Day Delivery applies on all orders for delivery in England, Wales, Central & Southern Scotland (See Zone Chart Below for applicable Post-Codes) with a minimum total order value of £25.00 Incl VAT. Orders under £25.00 will be subject to a delivery charge of £6.95 incl VAT.

2 Working Day Delivery
Scottish Highlands & N. Ireland (Zone C)
We can provide a 2 working day delivery service to the Scottish Highlands and N. Ireland. Please contact us for a quote.

Channel Islands, Outer Hebrides (Zone D)
We can provide a 2 working day delivery service to Channel Islands and Outer Hebrides. Please contact us for a quote.

Republic of Ireland (Zone E)
We can provide a 2 working day delivery service to the Republic of Ireland. At this point we can only offer sales in Sterling Pounds (£). Please contact us for a quote.

Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Isle of Scilly

We can provide a 2 working day delivery service to Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Isle of Scilly.  Please contact us for a Quote.





Tracking
Once we have dispatched your order we shall email you to advise you of your HomeServe tracking number. Using the link on the Home Page we recommend you check at regular intervals to view the status of your delivery to avoid any potential redelivery costs.

Attempted Deliveries
In the event that a delivery is attempted on the scheduled day and there is no one available to receive and sign for the consignment, Business Post will leave a card. This card will offer you alternative means by which to receive your delivery. It is vitally important that you quickly contact the delivery depot to re-arrange a time that is suitable to you. If you arrange for a re-delivery at a time convenient and if the re-delivery is made at the scheduled time and there is no-one to receive and sign for the consignment then you may be required to pay for the cost of the re-delivery attempt. The undelivered consignment will be held at your local depot for a further 3 days, but if the depot is not contacted within this time frame the consignment will be sent back to us and you may incur further charges for this delivery back to our warehouse.

For your convenience we can offer the following two facilities:

Delivery to an address of your choice
If it is more convenient for you to have your goods delivered to an address other than the cardholder address, then please state clearly at the time of order the delivery address required.  Eg your neighbour or your work address.

Delivery without a signature
With your written consent we are able to arrange for your delivery to be left without a signature if it is not possible for you to be at the address on the stated delivery day.

This written consent should be specified at checkout by completing the "Special Delivery Instructions" box after accepting our Terms & Conditions our alternatively by sending us an email or fax with the details including your order reference number.

It must clearly state the address and the exact site at which you wish for the your order to be left. (Please take into consideration the size of the items ordered).

By providing this information it will act as your written consent for us to deliver without a signature and receipt of your order and we cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to your goods once they have been delivered.

At any time you will be able to check on the progress of your order using the link listed above so you will know when your delivery has taken place.

Please note: Business Post drivers are not insured to carry goods up flights of stairs.  Goods delivered to flats may be left in the lobby area.

Any damaged or incomplete deliveries should be reported to us within 48 hours.

Please ensure that your goods are inspected prior to signature for loss or damage and that any arrangements for the fitting of your floor coverings are made after the delivery has been made.
